The Cumberland Brewing Company

If you’re in the Comox/Courtenay area of BC it’s well worth a drive to Cumberland.  Lots of cool buildings and history abounds!

Once you’re done exploring the town, a very good place to stop for a lunch and/or cold drink is the Cumberland Brewing Company.

The patio area is enclosed and covered partly by shade cloth and vines and makes a very comfortable place to sit on a summer afternoon.  Seating inside is very limited so the patio’s the place to be!

There is a good selection of foods … mostly tapas (or appies).  They are large servings tho and if you opt for the muffaleta it will actually feed 2!

The beers are excellent and there is a good selection of lights and darks.

This is a very popular spot so when the doors open at 12:00 … be there promptly!
