It’s official!. We’re hitting the road for the month of June and heading to the beautiful South Okanagan region in British Columbia. We plan to set up camp in Osoyoos and use that as a base to revisit some of our favourite spots and explore some new ones.

Osoyoos & Osoyoos Lake

We will be camped at the Nk’mip RV Resort located right on Osoyoos Lake, the warmest fresh water lake in Canada! It will be great for some local kayaking and kayaking practice. From there we will check out some of the amazing wineries in the region, do some hiking in the the desert, the most northerly part of the Sonoran Desert which runs south all the way to Mexico. We’ll bike some more of the amazing Kettle Creek Rail Trail, check out some of the Okanagan Grasslands high in the local mountains, and poke around some of the cultural attractions.
